How CBMC runs more than 500 chapter events a year on one platform

The challenge

CBMC's work happens locally. Teams in cities across the country host their own breakfasts, luncheons, golf outings and banquets, each with its own guests, sponsors and volunteers. The national office needs to see all of it, and every event has to carry the ministry's name, not a ticketing marketplace's.

A general ticketing site sells a seat well. CBMC needed more in the same checkout: tables for table hosts, sponsorships with included guests, gifts to the ministry, and invoices for the business that pays by check. It also needed to follow up with the guests who came.

What CBMC runs on AnyRegistration

• Chapter events under one account. Each local organizer runs its own events; the national office sees every registration, sponsor and dollar. 532 events in the last twelve months alone.
• Events on CBMC's own websites. Chapter and regional sites show their own events through the embedded events calendar, and registration pages live on CBMC's own domain.
• Recurring breakfasts and luncheons as series. 38 series, so a monthly gathering is set up once and repeated.
• Sponsorships and tables. More than 950 sponsorships sold, many with guest seats included in the same checkout.
• Gifts with registration. More than 1,300 gifts totaling over $300,000, given alongside tickets and sponsorships.
• Invoices. 442 purchases invoiced for sponsors and table hosts who pay later, by check or online.
• Check-in, name tags and tent cards printed for the door, with more than 6,600 guests checked in.
• Post-event surveys and follow-up. 2,265 survey responses across 103 events, 923 of them from paper response cards imported after the event, with 696 follow-ups assigned to local leaders.

A national conference with its own app

For MERGE 2026, CBMC's national conference in October 2026, AnyRegistration ran registration, the agenda, speakers and breakout sessions. 371 attendees registered and made 597 breakout sign-ups.

Attendees used CBMC One, a branded mobile app in the App Store and Google Play built on AnyRegistration. It carried the schedule, their breakout choices and the attendee directory, and the conference team sent push notifications to everyone on site.
